a small INTIMATE gathering
tonight i have a gathering with former workmates. all have gone their separate ways and are at other companies right now. we've all been friends for a few years at least. thing is... there is awkwardness. one of the former workmates has been intimate with a current workmate of mine (who is not coming to the gathering and who is a good friend of mine as well)... the former workmate is bringing her live-in with her, whom she cheated on at the same time the current workmate was in an almost-separation (now separated) from his wife... awkwardness will ensue b/c this all happened to begin @ a bbq that i had this past summer. now the former workmate's boyfriend might have some words or at least "i hate you, die bitch" glances for me... i dont feel at fault at all in this whole situation... these friends of mine (now-not-friends-with-each-other) are both adults and made adult decisions when i provided them both with means of not carrying their mild flirtations to the next level (i also dont judge either for their actions, as i said, they are both adults)... however, i do feel that the boyfriend might have another opinion... im a rather forthright person and will speak my mind when and where i need to in order to defend myself... i would never want to cause any issues @ the hostess' home, of course... NOR make an ass of myself while doing it... the question is, if he does provoke me in the typical-uneducated-passive-aggressive way most uneducated passive aggressive people provoke others... do i kick his ass then or wait until i toss him out into the cold?
if you dont hear from me in the next week or so... things went awry and please send bail money...
